"Pyung" form 1

  1. Starting from the ready stance, look over your left shoulder before turning your body 90 degrees and performing a low block in front stance.
  2. Take 1 step forwards and perform a centre punch in front stance.
  3. Look over your right shoulder and turn your body 180 degrees before taking 1 step forwards and performing a low block in front stance.
  4. Twist your right wrist before bringing your feet together in an “L” shape while performing a hammer fist. 
  5. Take 1 step forwards and perform a centre punch in front stance. 
  6. Look over your left shoulder towards the front of the training hall before turning you body 90 degrees and performing a low block followed by a one-handed centre knife-hand block. (Note: The blocks described in this part of the form are performed on the spot with your left arm.)
